How we work with you
We are very personal in our approach to each of our clients, treating each person as the unique individual they are. We are fully committed to listening to your personal needs and concerns, helping you explore these in a fully supportive, non-judgemental and confidential way.
Counselling is an umbrella term used to describe a range of talking therapies which are provided in a safe and supportive environment in a way that will enable you to share what is troubling you. We aim to ensure that you are listened to in a way that helps you understand yourself better and will support you in finding more effective ways of living your life and coping with the issues you are having difficulties with.
We understand that counselling can be a very scary step to take and are fully aware of how personal the whole process can be. We are here to offer impartial empathy and compassion to you and your situation, offering you a fresh perspective on your situation and helping you find your own understanding of what you are dealing with.
The relationship we build with you is hugely important to us and we see that relationship as one of most important factors in the effectiveness of your therapeutic journey. It is essential to us that you feel safe and able to share your feelings and thoughts with your counsellor in a way that makes you feel valued, heard and fully understood.
